** Maybe this story won’t impact you as much as it did me, but it just taught me that kindness counts and it matters. **
Okay, so in one of my classes I had ordered a book through Amazon, but they ended up canceling my order. I had sent a message out to my class members asking if maybe any of them would be willing to share their book until I got a chance to re-order it.
So get this… I got an email back from a girl in my class saying that she had spent TWO HOURS scanning the chapter we were assigned for me to read it and she also said that she happend to have an extra book that I could borrow for the rest of the semester.
And the craziest thing you guys, is that SHE’S BLIND! She’s freaking BLIND! Can you imagine trying to scan an entire chapter into a machine being blind?? I’m confused enough with machinery and I have 20/20 vision. THEN, to dowload it all onto a computer and send it out. Amazing.
This girl has NO idea who I am, yet she was willing to be kind and sacrifice her time so that I could get my assignment in. Honestly, as sad as this sounds, I dont know if I would have done that… Talk about convicting. It just inspires me to be the nicest person in the world!! To everyone! haha!
How do you even thank someone for doing that? wow.
Everyone! Just be nice! Love other people even if they are total strangers to you! You have no clue how simply showing love to someone will change them. Kindness makes a lasting impact in this world. Be the change.
Oh, thank you SO much! That’s so sweet. I hope you have the best day!! :)
